Sharing 20 Years of experience serving individuals, families, children and teens in therapy.

I believe in living authentically and a rich life, and I’m passionate about helping others to find fulfillment. My mission is to offer my cultural experiences, trainings, introspection and innate qualities in entirety to help create mindfulness and ideal lifestyles. I speak 5 different languages and have traveled across 21 countries thus far – to trek life transformative world wonders like the Great Wall of China and Mayan Pyramids. I am culturally sensitive, and offer a highly personalized approach to meet my client’s individual needs.

My educational accomplishments include a BA in Psychology and BS in Social Relations followed by Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. I also hold a Doctor of Education, Specialization Mind Brain and Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University.  I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.  I have worked for years in school settings throughout Los Angeles and Orange County helping students with social emotional struggles both at home and school that may impact their academic success.  I have also worked in clinical/private practice to assist families and individuals in a therapeutic and safe environment.

Note: As a female therapist, I feel privileged to be able to provide my services to women suffering from domestic violence or victims of crime. Over the years I have worked with a diverse population from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Coming from a South Asian background, I’m particularly eager to help communities within this population, such as Indian, Pakistani and Bengali.
