Helping teens goes hand in hand with helping their parents. Having been a Counselor with California public schools for 10 years, I have an extensive background in educational support services for both parents and students, helping children with learning disabilities, academic underachievement and behavioral issues, treating struggling children or adolescents and their families. I believe all students are able to succeed in a positive learning environment.
As a mother, I know that from the first day children enter our lives it is a daily learning process. We are learning as much about our children as they are about our rules and prerogatives. A non-compliant child can make you feel stuck and it may seem impossible to change. With expert information and innovative strategies, I seemingly work to give you specialized child and teen counseling services for the challenging behaviors you face with your kids and teens.
Empty Nesters
So you made it through the difficult years and now they are going off on their own. It is a new set of issues. Letting go is hard enough, and then you wonder if you have equipped them with everything they will need to be on their own or responsible college students.
